Google has launched a coronavirus website to keep people updated on information relating to the coronavirus
This was disclosed by the company who said the website will feature information such as symptoms, preventions, global statics, and other relevant information.
The website which is at google.com/covid19 has very useful information to keep you on track about the virus, adding that it will be gathering information from WHO and CDC.
A Google spokesperson while speaking in an interview said the website is only in English version adding that the Spanish version will follow soon. The spokesperson also said the website can be accessed in its usual larger font.
The website has a global map showing countries with confirmed cases as well as YouTube videos for relief. Right now, the CDC has a “self-checker” chatbot that Microsoft helped build.
In other words, lots of big tech companies are making efforts to provide coronavirus-related support, but none of them are able to solve some of the biggest problems in the pandemic: access to testing and the impending crisis in our healthcare infrastructure.
