iPhone 11 pro is the reigning chick now, thanks to its three rear cameras, all-day battery life, and high-resolution OLED screen. Its starting price is $999 (₦387,112). With so many iPhones out there, you might be confused about which one to choose.
Now let’s begin the comparison
iPhone SE 2 and iPhone 11 Pro
The iPhone SE may look like an older iPhone on the outside, but it shares the same A13 Bionic chip found on the iPhone 11 and 11 Pro. With that, it offers great performance and a very capable camera for a starting price of $399 (₦154,612). Know that the battery will not last as the more expensive phone.
For the iPhone 11 Pro, it’s sleek stainless-steel chassis, great battery life, and a high-resolution OLED display, the iPhone 11 Pro deserves of the “Pro” label. It is the most robust iPhone you can buy which has three rear cameras that give you flexibility from ultrawide through to telephoto. The screen sizes range from 5.8 to 6.5 inches if you choose the iPhone 11 Pro Max. It has a storage size of 512 GB, while for iPhone SE, 256GB.
Compact and Durability
iPhone SE is the most compact while the 11 Pro is extremely durable. With a 4.7- inch screen, the iPhone SE shares the same overall design as the iPhone 8, while the iPhone 11 Pro has a 5.8-inch screen and sports the newer iPhone design without a home button.
For the frame, the iPhone SE has an aluminum frame, while the iPhone 11 Pro is made of stainless steel.
Both phones are water resistance, although to slightly different degrees. The iPhone SE is rated IP67, which literally means that it can reach a maximum depth of 1 meter/3 feet for up to 30 minutes. For iPhone 11 Pro, the rate is IP68 and can stay in water for the same time at 4 meters/ (13 feet).
Who has the most gorgeous OLED display? Of course it is the iPhone 11 Pro. It has an OLED Super Retina XDR display, while the iPhone SE has an LCD Liquid Retina display.
Touch ID VS Face ID
Face ID is solid, but has limitations despite becoming more responsive as time goes on, while Touch ID is just the best. You don’t have to wait for your face to be recognized, all you have to do is to click on your home button and it will open automatically. According to phone experts, the Face ID sometimes struggles to recognize the face very early in the morning.
The iPhone 11 Pro has three rear cameras: ultrawide-angle, wide and 2x telephoto, while the SE has a single, wide rear camera. The main cameras on both phones use Smart HDR to even out shadow and highlight detail.
The iPhone 11 Pro produced images with greater dynamic range in challenging lighting conditions, but on some shots, it was hard to tell them apart in terms of colors and overall processing.
The iPhone 11 Pro has Apple’s Deep Fusion processing, which helps to produce sharper shots in medium lighting conditions.
For overall performance, it is a tie, but iPhone 11 Pro pulls through with its amazing battery life.
The A13 Bionic Chip
The iPhone SE has a similar battery to the iPhone 8, while the iPhone 11 Pro has a higher capacity battery than the cheaper phone. The 11 Pro has a 3,046mAh battery while the 11 Pro Max 3,969mAh).
The 11 Pro can get through the entire day without charging, while the iPhone SE can barely get through a day.
